Babe Ruth Division Update
Babe Ruth Division Important Info
Division Merger and Spring Registration Info:
Dear HVBSA Baseball Families,
I hope this message finds you well. We are all excited about the upcoming Spring Baseball and Softball Season. I am writing to share some news that will help shape the future of our Babe Ruth baseball program which supports the players from 13 years old to 16 years old.
After a lot of hard work from our Babe Ruth Coordinator, AJ Arcamone, and members of the HVBSA Board of Directors, I am happy to announce that the HVBSA Babe Ruth League has successfully completed a merger that will include two other town leagues – Ewing and Lawrence. This merger marks a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance the overall experience for our young athletes.
The decision to merge was not taken lightly, and it required extensive planning and cooperation from all parties involved. We believe that by combining our resources, expertise, and passion for the sport, we can create a stronger and more robust Babe Ruth baseball program that will benefit our older players and their families.
Here are some key benefits we anticipate from this merger:
- Expanded Opportunities: The merger will provide our players with expanded opportunities for skill development, competition, and participation in various events.
- Enhanced Coaching Staff: With a larger pool of experienced coaches, we are better equipped to provide quality coaching and mentorship to our young athletes.
- Improved Facilities: By pooling our resources, we aim to make significant improvements to our facilities, creating a safer and more enjoyable environment for everyone.
- Wider Community Support: Together, we can build stronger community support for youth baseball, fostering a sense of pride and unity among our families.
We understand that change can be both exciting and challenging, but we are committed to ensuring a smooth transition. Our priority is to maintain the core values that make the HVBSA Babe Ruth program special while introducing positive changes that will benefit everyone involved.
We know that you may have some questions or comments about the merger and ask that you reach out to Babe Ruth Coordinator AJ Acramone (aj.arcamone@gmail.com) or HVBSA President Rich Levesque (RFLevesque@gmail.com) with any of those questions. Additionally, stay tuned for updates on the upcoming season, registration details, and exciting events we have planned.
