Fall ball emphasizes player development, trying new positions and having fun!

Divisions/Fees:

  • Tee-Ball (ages 4-6 as of 4/30/24) $60
  • Cal Ripken Rookie (Age 6-8 as of 4/30/24) $90
  • Cal Ripken Minor (Age 8-10 as of 4/30/24) $90
  • Cal Ripken Major (Age 10-12 as of 4/30/24) $90

 

  • Softball 8U Division (2015, 2016, 2017 Birth Years) $90
  • Softball 10U Division (2013, 2014 Birth Years, may consider 2015 “playing up” ahead of spring season) – $90
  • Softball 12U Division (2011, 2012 Birth Years, may consider 2013 “playing up” ahead of spring season) – $90
  • Softball 14U Division (2000, 2010 Birth Years, may consider 2011 “playing up” ahead of spring season) – $90

 

Important Dates:

  • Rosters set/Practices start late August (excluding tee-ball)
  • Games start just after Labor Day
  • Season runs through October
  • Cal Ripken Rookie and Minors – 2 weekday nights games per week (Monday through Thursday)
  • Cal Ripken Majors – may have a game on a Saturday depending on # of teams
  • Tee-ball – games Saturdays early afternoon
  • Softball – 1 weeknight (Mon – Thurs) + Sat or Sunday afternoon each week
  • There will be a mandatory player assessment (TBA) for any 8-year-old or 10-year-old player looking to “play up” a division. Players must be selected to be eligible to play up. (Previous season coach evaluations will also be used)

 

Uniform/Equipment:

  • All players must come dressed in baseball/softball/sweat pants (no shorts), cleats (ideally) or sneakers, bring a glove, bat and helmet (if you have them). Players should also have their own water bottle.
  • Softball players 12U and below require fielding mask
  • Players will receive a team shirt (all players) and hat (Baseball/Tee-ball) as part of their uniform
  • Baseball/Softball pants available if needed
