HVBSA Travel Softball Program

A focus on player development and education

Travel softball provides the opportunity for recreational (rec) softball players to play on more competitive teams. Travel softball is a larger time commitment, with a focus on player development and education, with particular emphasis on developing position-specific skills. Players can expect to participate in fall league and/or tournaments, indoor winter training, including additional sessions for pitchers and catchers, and spring/summer leagues and tournaments.

All players who are selected to play on a Hopewell travel team are expected to play in their local rec league during at least one season per year (Spring or Fall) to further develop their leadership and playing skills.
